He says (in "God Loves Fun") to go low when you are feeling low. I appreciate this is an edited excerpt from a talk, but it wasn't apt for the audience to laugh at depression. Mild depression and more serious forms of depression are defintley not laughing matters. I don't think Guruji would laugh at them, so perhaps this particular video of him is aimed at people who get "depressed" by trivial things (like their footabll team losing).

my dad died from leukemia 3 months ago. he was sick for 3 years. i'm currently going into my 3rd year of nursing college in ireland. nurses are important to the patients. they are their advocates.if you've had someone close to you pass away you'll appreciate them even more.i shall treat all my patients the way my dad was treated....with the up-most respect and care!!

To begin with, nothing makes me want to cry more, or breaks my heart, than seeing an ill child, especially one with cancer. I'm 43 and a cancer survivor. I agree that nurses make all the difference. I was hospitalized for (2) months straight and the attentive, caring nurses made all the difference, however, the dismissive, angry ones, made for some very long and lonely nights. Great video J&J! I hope the new nurses that see it take heed.

and that was a "dream hospital" iv been in several childrens mental hospitals for severe depression. the kids there were very mentally disturbed so to speak.but the people working there are so sweet and caring. before i went i had just read a book called "my lobotomy" by howard dully. i don't know MsAnthropy, how things are viewed from country to country, but you're probably right. i'm in Canada, we just don't refer to Autism as a mental disorder or illness. I'm sorry about your aunt and grandparents, that's horrible. I'm sure there are places that do not run as well here too. Maybe it's different from country to country but I'm from New York and that's what the data states. That's right, the ones with see through eye coverings have probably undergone a lobotomy. The ones with non see through eye coverings, I suspect they are using this to keep the patient in a darkness situation, somehow the omission of light in the eyes is supposed to calm them down and temporarily reduce the effects of their condition. I don't know if it worked or was just a lot of quackery.

I don't know about all psychiatric institutions, but not all of them are bad. I work at a very prominent one and it is a great place. Also, a loved one is NOT always the best caregiver, not by a longshot. I am a nurse's aide and i am speaking from experience.

dont worry, thats what the rehab is for, youll slowly regain the entire movement of your knee, but those first few bends will be quite a doozy, lol, and the further you bend the knee for the first time itll be a bit stiff, but youll eventually work out every bit of stiffness through your working it its a long process, but when youre finished youre knee will be as strong if not stronger than before. :)

fwukaiquahundo: I was in a brace for the first week that didnt allow me to bend my knee, so I wouldnt worry about it quite yet. Have you started PT? ManUUUUTD: Depends on what your doctor says. You can use a cadaver ligament, or hamstring/patella from your own body. You will recover faster using the cadaver.

I had the surgery a few months ago, using the autograft. Make sure you get all the information you can before the surgery. Autografts take longer to heal. :(
