My neighbor went to an Asian stem cell center that uses zero-antigen umbilical cord blood (NO embryos harmed). Their condition immediately began reversing. Really amazing! They got a stateside evaluation thru SCC International. Tel (321) 287-9318.

By: KenMacMillan. on 06 Feb 10, 23:07:29
There are stem cells from umbilical cords & they can convert normal cells now. They don't need embryonic cells anymore. I agree though that the church is a hindrance to science.
By: dirtbagarry. on 06 Feb 10, 21:07:08
@KenMacMillan it only depends on if the church will stay the hell out of the way

The reason that embryonic stem cells are important is because they can turn into cells that don't have stem cells or can't reproduce quickly enough like nerve or heart cells.
By: gamemakerxl. on 26 Dec 09, 03:18:50
Understandably if we don't have to kill something, why kill it? Even so the problem is that the solution used earlier is that it won't work with other important problem. The reason it worked was because the stem cells taken from the eye were able to turn into those eye cells needed. But it is highly unlikely that those stem cells could turn into, let's say, heart cells.

Stem cells restore man's vision!!!! No embryonic stem cells used, they took stem cells from his other eye, grew them in a laboratory and then implanted them in the blind eye. Stem Cells Help Cure Blindness, Financial Times, 12/22/09. If we don't have to destroy life to get the stem cells we need to help people, we shouldn't.
By: KenMacMillan. on 20 Dec 09, 00:34:07
One day this research will make it possible for people to regenerate themselves indefinately & never age. Also to grow new arms, legs, & whatever else one might loose.

hair stem cell should be free because it helps people build confidence. we waited long enough for the truth and cure to get it back enough with charging tons of money. lets give back to the community the economey is a mess we need a change of life and love to offer to people. we need good healthy life style for people. doctors have no heart to care to offer the love
By: Sarnarath. on 15 Dec 09, 17:04:49
i agree, at this point i annoy myself at the people trying to ban stemcell research. but when i am dying of organ failure whilst this technology could have saved me. i wil truly hate those people.

Hey there is good new I dissagre wit abortion exept in rape circumstance ..but you dont have to kill a baby you can get it from the ambilical cord!...Unless you want to crank up the baby harvesting machine and throw em in perhaps they should have done that with you you could have saved a life mate good day with you:)
By: NexFioVos. on 13 Dec 09, 19:08:33
Up to birth an embryo is classed as a parasite "An organism that lives in or on and takes its nourishment from another organism. A parasite cannot live independently." and because it brings no benefit to the mother, it cannot even be classed as a symbiote, so morals cannot come into it. Stem cells can save many lives to the loss of one undeveloped embryo.

pixiezonel, you are a spammer. I care not for the stupid morality issues. I care only for the effectiveness of different stem cell treatments.
By: pixiezone. on 07 Dec 09, 16:03:00
According to the results of scientific research human cell that switched itself to a state of embryogenesis IS a human individual. And is independent from woman's body, it is a separate organism. Check this publication from 2009: Nature EMBO reports:" Embryonic human persons Talking point on morality and human embryo research" Robert P George & Patrick Lee EMBO reports (2009), 10, -301 - 306, doi:10.1038/embor.2009.42
By: pixiezone. on 07 Dec 09, 15:39:04
But this technology is not really needed beceuse any embryo stored in the lab can be implanted in woman's body, thus giving him/her chance for uninterrupted and safe development!!!
By: pixiezone. on 07 Dec 09, 15:37:34
The most comfortable way is to develop in woman's body from the beginning. Any interference or manipulation increase the chance for human destruction. The human have his rights. One of them is the right to live and physical safety.
