haha hey guys i got back from my surgery.. this time it hurt because he put 4 injections to numb it...other than that its good... if u have a stye boil an egg then put it on your eye and wrap it in paper..... this will help and it works... doctor reccommended

i got a stye in july due to sleep deprivation..but i didnt take it seriously and didnt get enough sleep..so it went on and suddenly after 3 months when i had to spend 3 sleepless nights on a big assignement,it became more hard and turned into a chalazion..one in the upper and another in the lower lid..had it 'removed' last week..but now the doc says dat the thickening of the lower lid might remain forever..someone PLEASE tell me whether the scars remain forever..wil sleep better knowing it..

The use clamps most of the time but only awkward areas or larger chalazions would sometimes make it difficult to even clamp it.

Yeah it causes visible scarring when it has to be operated on the front like mine was. Buy you would be surprised at how fast it heals because the eyelid area is rich in fats and tissue.

the antibiotics and eye drops worked amazingly. the bump/chalazion is basically gone now, you can barely see it. the bump was pretty big too. i didnt think the stuff would work at first but it just takes a few days for it to kick in, then it seems to go down so fast. like one morning i woke up and it was soo much smaller than the night before. lol i was very relieved to know for sure i wouldnt have to do this procedure ^_^

I have had 1 for two weeks. i think i got it from vaseline getting in my eye. Its hurts and can feel the pain in my throat. i have been given eye cream CHLORAMPHENICOL to use twice a day. When should iexpect to see it go away. It looks awful. ty

If it is pointing on skin may be done on the skin, if the incision is along the skin creases there is no noticeable scar. Turning it inside out are for the chalazions pointing underneath the eyelid.

ya, i went to the doctors yesterday actually and she said it was a stye (which is wrong cuz styes are smaller and a little different). but anyways, she gave me some prescription eye drops and antiobiotics. she said it should go down in a week or so of using them. if its small, i dont think you need to worry about it too much. warm compressing it should work fine, thats what ive been doing. :)
