There are some fairly bulky vegan bodybuilders. One could make the argument that none of them are as bulky as the "superior" meat eaters, which is true, the obvious counter-argument is that so few people have become vegan that it's hard to say what the max potential is for vegans. Keep in mind I'm generally all for "vengeance-style" meat-eating, meaning; eating the animals that already eat other animals. I'm just quite against hurting docile animals like cows, deer and pigs for example.

This is circular logic, at least have the decency to understand that some people do not consider other animals inferior to humans (humans are also animals, btw). @dunkinstien You can eat inexpensively while being vegan. I realize that the meat replacements can be costly when on a budget but eating healthy doesn't need to include that. A very healthy diet would be one that consists of raw fruit, veggies, nuts and seeds. And of course rice, beans and legumes are very inexpensive as well. The man is going to be 49 in July! 2 yrs vegan during 1 Olympic meet is hardly substantial to make claims about performance. What's vitarian dude? I am trying to become 100% vegan myself and eventually switch to the RAVE diet. Funny thing is Bruce Lee ate meat and he was the world's best athlete. However he didn't like his kids eating meat so therefore it is questionable if he became vegetarian later in his life. He didn't eat cheese or drink milk but he ate eggs for sure.

I don't understand why in recipes people keeps saying how a certain vegetable is rich in vitamin C when they are going to cook the food.That is misleading for people that don't know that vitamin C dissappears when you cook your vegetables!It even dissappears (in contact with oxigen or sunlight) if you chop the vegetables and leave them to stand.I am not a raw vegan,but I think everyone should know that they will get almost none vitamin C from cooked vegetables.

ok that is rubbish. the iron you get from red meat is not better for you it is just more readily bioavailable as the animal has already absorbed/prossesed it. the iron in plants is just the same, where do you think the iron in the animal came from? it is just partly not bioavailable, by processing it and eating the right vitamins etc that help break down and absorb iron it is fine. anemea/iron deficience is rare in veggies unless like their meat eating counterparts they dont eat properly.

I may be mistaken on this one, as I haven't "researched" it at all, but... I'd be willing to bet that at least some of the people that have lived to the ripe age of 100 years old have been meat eaters. Like I said, not sure about it but, I'd bet my wallet on it.

If everyone went on the vegan diet at least 1/4 of the human population will die, if not more. Many people are allergic to fruit, vegetables, and nuts. But I guess from your logic they aren't human.
