To dumb asses seeking medical attention from corrupt "keep 'em sick so I can make money" doctors: Hydrogen peroxide (h202) stops skin cancer dead. If you have skin condition and even if not, after shower & quick dry, it is good to spray your body down w store bought 3% h202 & air dry; to kill cancer must use 30% h202 & dilute to 8%; if 8% is too weak raise to 9% or 10%; be careful handling h202 30% as it is like acid; but w rubber gloves & careful dilution can stop cancer dead. Investigate!

Absolutely not. Regular pimples can be distinguished from cancerous growths by a doctor. Pimples and boils etc. usually tend to go away & (sometimes reappear) respond to over the counter creams. Pimples are mainly hormone driven during younger years and other boils are due to reasons like simple infections, insect bites, etc. Cancers & other serious skin reactions get worse and require a doctors attention. If it does not clear up in a few days, you need to see a doctor.

I didn't take it serious until the doctor explained they litterally grow down through your skin untill they become deadly. Just because your young doesn't mean your safe...

Also, if you have a mole that you are uncomfortable with for ANY reason, insist a biopsy. Many cancerous moles get passed off as warts or regular moles. Don't let your doctor bully you or intimidate you. They can and often do make mistakes. Also, insist on getting a "punch biopsy" test. Shaving the mole doesn't show the depth of the mole. Nodular melanomas are sometimes missed because they spread downwards into the skin, where as superficial melanomas spread horizontally on the top of the skin.

I wish that the medial community would stop telling people that a mole has to be 6mm or more to be potentially cancerous. People have had moles much smaller than that and they turned out to be cancer. Another thing I find missleading is the "ABCDs" of a mole. A mole CAN be symetrical and still be cancerous. They can also be one solid colour. They don't have to have different shades of the same colour.

I had a melanoma at my back. I went to a skin specialist and she discovered a very bad looking melanoma at my back. Go very quickly to the next clinic for skin diseases. Do not wait too long. I know Its difficult & unrealistic 2 "stay out of the sun" but use sun block & dont go tanning. I had a skin cancer scare in 2008,thankfully the biospy on the mole was noncanerous but it was a torturous week of waiting and the doc said the mole indicates that im more susceptible to skin cancer than the average person. Something about doctors taking my cells to clone them to kill my bad cells scares the crap out of me. It's all great but like it's still in the experimental stage from what I gather and who knows what effects it could have on our bodies ten or twenty years down the line. I just got finished with my second bout with melanoma and I'm only 20. This time it didn't spread before I caught it. Thank god! Last time it had just begin to spread to my nodes so I had to go on infearon. I'm getting the sense this is gonna be a constant struggle. Just wish I would have known when I was younger to stay out of the sun.

but then going outside isn't just about getting tanned- getting tanned increases the risk of getting skin cancer. You will still need a certain amount of sunlight in order for the body to produce Vitamin D. So sometimes staying in the sun for a few minutes can be good for your body. =]

Good advice. Thanks for posting your video. Long ago, I used to sit in the backyard to get tan without any sunscreen (unheard of then) and now am paying the price with Basal Cell carcinoma on my face. I guess it takes from 20 to 30 years for cancer to show up on some people. Sun beds are so much more extreme! You are smart to stay away from them.

My late brother, who spent a lot of time outdoors (hunting and fishing), was diagnosed with melanoma in summer 1986. That growth went into remission and recurred in late 1991. He died in January of 1992. Now, when I hear about melanoma,people tend to talk like it's no big thing. Has there really been that kind of progress made in treating it?

I loved tanning beds, and the sun. I was recently diag, with malignet melanoma, It shocked me. We are in the dark.. and think It wont happen to me... Now I see a derm every 3 months to try to prevent more possible scars from removal and hopefully catch any sympotoms of spreading throughout my body.. esp to brain and lungs.... BEWARE.. God bless
